PICNIC MOVED INSIDE: Unite on Wednesday, Support Students on Day for Saint Leo
On Wednesday, April 12, the university community will celebrate our 10th annual Day for Saint Leo. This annual giving day not only raises awareness among alumni for our programs and initiatives, but also helps to promote a growing culture of philanthropy at Saint Leo University. Visit our new Day for Saint Leo page to learn more about 20 initiatives that you can support in this year’s Day for Saint Leo campaign.
Faculty, staff, and students who give on Day for Saint Leo will receive a Day for Saint Leo sticker and T-shirt (while supplies last), thanks to our sponsorships from AT&T and Tampa Law. Faculty and staff are encouraged to show their support for our students by participating in Day for Saint Leo in one or more of the following ways:
Get Involved – Sign up to be an advocate and promote our campaign to people in your network! The advocate with the most gifts secured will receive a special gift.
Give Back – Donate to a scholarship, program, or initiative that matters most to you. Every dollar raised will support our students. Help us unlock more than $250,000 in challenge gifts by making your gift today.
Share the Love: Then & Now social media campaign – How much has changed in your life since you first began your journey at Saint Leo University? Share your “then and now” photos with us in recognition of the impact Saint Leo has made on your life. Choose a favorite photo from your early days at Saint Leo, then choose a current photo – and post them on April 12 to help spread awareness for our 10th annual Day for Saint Leo fundraising campaign.
Faculty, staff, and students are also invited to the following events being held at University Campus:
8 – 11 a.m.: Coffee and Conversations at Benedict’s Coffeehouse
Stop in for a cup of coffee and say hello. When you donate $10 or more, you will receive a $5 gift card to Benedict’s, thanks to the generosity of Vice President of Advancement Stephen Kubasek ’08. Open to faculty, staff, and students.
11 a.m. – 2 p.m.: Day for Saint Leo Picnic in Dining Hall
Sponsored by Student Affairs, enjoy a picnic in the Dining Hall, and wear your favorite Saint Leo gear to celebrate a Spirit Day in honor of Day for Saint Leo. Open to faculty, staff, and students.
