Join the Office of Military Affairs & Services and WorldWide Student Life at 5:30 p.m. (ET), Wednesday, December 7, as they present Conversations About Success Beyond Service FALL 2 2022: Navigating Federal Employment. This informative session features Alexander Hightower, employment coordinator with the the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. All military-connected and civilian students and alumni are welcome!
Session Overview:
Hunting for a job after military transition can be a stressful, tricky task. After all, Uncle Sam provided a lot of job stability while you were serving. So, why not continue that stability with a federal civilian job? With plenty of career fields to choose from, a veteran-hiring preference, and time in service counting toward retirement, a government job brings plenty to love.
