0July’s compliance training to focus on information security
During the month of July, the university’s compliance training will focus on learning more about the topic of information security. All employees have been assigned the acceptable use online course, which can be accessed through Workday Learning. Please complete this short online course at your leisure by July 29.
To supplement the acceptable use module, Learning and Development is offering three live sessions with our information security team:
Onboarding and Offboarding Expectations – Wednesday, July 13, 9:30-10:30 a.m.
This session explains the process of how new employees receive equipment from Information Technology, along with the process of returning equipment when resigning from the university. This session will also answer questions about university owned equipment.

Passwords matter! Whether at home or work, the importance of strong passwords is the same. Attend this session to learn more about how to create strong passwords to keep your information safe.

With so many social media options, keeping personal posts separate from professional posts is important. This session will address finding the balance between personal and professional when navigating social media.
