Saint Leo University to host swim school for children

Saint Leo University is hosting the Lions Swim School to teach children of different age groups how to swim this summer at the Wellness Center pool. Led by Assistant Director of Aquatics and Fitness Rob Gazall, the group swim lessons will vary based on age and ability.

Session one will be offered from Monday, June 6, through Friday, July 1, and session two will be held from Monday, July 11, through Friday, August 5. Each session consists of eight classes and costs $120 for Wellness Center members and $160 for non-members.

Classes are available based on the following age groups:

  • Starfish (ages 6 months to 1-year-old)
  • Seahorse (ages 1 to 2)
  • Jellyfish (ages 2 and older)
  • Sea Turtle (ages 4 and older)
  • Seal (ages 6 and older)
  • Dolphin (ages 7 and older)
