0March 4 concert features inspirational choral music
The Saint Leo Singers, Chamber Singers, and Chamber Instruments are performing John Rutter’s magnificent Requiem, along with other inspirational music at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, in the Saint Leo Abbey Church. Admission is free, and all are welcome.
Rutter’s Requiem is an ethereal celebration of mankind’s transcendence to eternity through faith. The work will feature guest harpist Meredith Coffman, cellist Kristen Swindle, and percussionist Debra Sailer.
Consider this an invitation to an evening of Lenten reflection while enjoying the breathtakingly beautiful music of one of the most beloved choral composers of the 20th century.
