Student Government Union hosts spring leadership conference
The annual Student Government Union (SGU) Leadership Conference, hosted by the SGU executive board, was held on Saturday, February 23. Each semester, SGU hosts this conference for all student organizations.
This semester, students were able to hear from leaders in business through keynote speakers and workshops. Speakers included Rasheed Ali Cromwell, owner of the Harbor Institute, and Sahil Punamia, marketing strategist at Netflix. Students also attended workshops covering topics ranging from “Navigating Workplace Politics” to “Overextending Yourself: Time Management.”
