Men’s lacrosse defeats Lenoir-Rhyne, advances to national championship May 27
Saint Leo men’s lacrosse defeated Lenoir-Rhyne 12-11 in the national semifinal Sunday, May 20, to advance to the 2018 NCAA Division II Men’s Lacrosse National Championship. The Lions will take on Merrimack at 4 p.m., May 27, at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. Read the complete release.
Softball defeats Alabama-Huntsville to advance to College World Series, May 24-28
Saint Leo softball defeated Alabama-Huntsville 2-1 in the best of three series with a 6-3 finale on May 19 to advance to the 2018 NCAA Division II Softball World Series in Salem, VA, May 24-28. The Lions will take on Chico State at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 24, to open the double-elimination tournament. Read the complete release

Saint Leo men’s golf opens up play at the 2018 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championships in Muscle Shoals, AL, May 21-25 where the Lions look to advance out of stroke play to medal/match play on May 24-25. Read the complete release

Saint Leo University climbed to 18th in the latest Learfield Directors’ Cup standings. The Lions reclaimed the top spot for the Sunshine State Conference institutions. Read the complete release
Baseball sees four Lions earn All-SSC Honors
Despite getting left out of the NCAA postseason, four baseball players earned All-Sunshine State Conference honors, led by Jordan Pendleton, who was a First Team All-SSC selection. Peyton Isaacson, Amir Wright, and Brett Coffel were all second team selections. Read the complete release
