Saint Leo women’s cross country wins NCAA South Region title
Rampf and Cheserek capture South Region individual crowns
Both men’s and women’s cross country are headed back to the NCAA Championships
Saturday was a historic day for Saint Leo cross country, as the women’s team won the program’s first NCAA South Region championship, while senior Colett Rampf and sophomore Ronald Cheserek took first place in women’s 6K and men’s 10K races respectively to win NCAA South Region individual championship honors.
Both teams earned automatic qualifiers to the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships, which will be held November 18 in Evansville, IN, at Angel Mounds State Park.

Volleyball sweeps SSC weekly awards
Saint Leo Volleyball swept last week’s Sunshine State Conference weekly awards, following the Lions’ upset of No. 3 Palm Beach Atlantic last week. Anna Garrett was named the SSC Setter of the Week, while Jenya Kruglova was tabbed as SSC Defensive Player of the Week and Victoria Omoregie earned SSC Offensive Player of the Week honors. Saint Leo cross country teams dominate All-SSC teams
Saint Leo men’s and women’s cross country were well-represented when the All-Sunshine State Conference teams were announced on Thursday, with both senior Colett Rampf and sophomore Ronald Cheserek earning SSC Women’s and Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Year honors respectively. Rampf is the first SSC student-athlete to earn Runner/Swimmer/Player of the Year honors four times in a career. A total of six Saint Leo runners – four women and two men – were tabbed for the All-SSC teams.

Women’s soccer senior Rosie Young named to All-SSC team
Senior Rosie Young capped her stellar career with Saint Leo women’s soccer by earning a spot on the All-Sunshine State Conference team, as selected by the conference’s head coaches. Read the complete release
