Bains tabbed as CollegeSwimming.com Division II National Swimmer of the Week
Saint Leo junior men’s swimmer Hunter Bains was named the CollegeSwimmer.com Division II National Swimmer of the Week, just days after being tabbed as the Sunshine State Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Week for his multiple NCAA “B” cut performance in Colorado. The national accolade marks the third straight week in which a Saint Leo student-athlete has earned a national athlete of the week award. Read the complete release.

Crocitto named WBCA “Conference Captain” for the SSC
Saint Leo’s first-year head coach Anthony Crocitto was named as the Sunshine State Conference Captain for the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA). Crocitto will represent the SSC on conference calls with the WBCA leadership to express the opinion of the league’s coaches on legislative concepts and proposals. Read the complete story.
Nomination period open for Saint Leo Athletic Hall of Fame
The Saint Leo Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is now accepting nominations for the Class of 2017, which will be inducted on March 30, 2017. Nominees must have entered Saint Leo no later than the Fall 2007 semester, with their entering class graduating in May 2011. Read the complete story.
