Athletics announces two staff changes
Saint Leo Athletics announces a pair of staffing changes for 2015-16: Megan Dzikas joins the department as an assistant women’s basketball coach, while Dawn Boltin has been promoted to assistant athletics director of business operations.
Lions are active this summer
Many Saint Leo student-athletes and alumni are active in competition this summer. Men’s golfer Hugo Bernard has been competing in amateur tournaments in his native Canada, and recently won the Lord Alexander of Tunis championship in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada – part of Golf Quebec’s “triple crown” of tournaments to select the provincial team for the Canadian Amateur Championship later this summer. Meanwhile, several baseball alumni are doing well in minor league and independent baseball, still in pursuit of their major league dreams.
