Rampf finishes fifth in 3000m steeplechase at NCAA track championships
Saint Leo sophomore Colett Rampf finished fifth overall in the women’s 3000m steeplechase in Friday’s final at the 2016 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Bradenton, Fla. Rampf, who clocked a time of 10:23.86, earned All-America honors in the process, and became Saint Leo’s first NCAA track and field All-American. Read the complete release.

All-America honors pour in for Saint Leo spring student-athletes
Four more Saint Leo spring student-athletes were awarded All-America honors for their performances this year:
– Baseball first baseman Troy Sieber was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-America Second Team. He is Saint Leo’s first ABCA/Rawlings All-America selection since 1999.
– Three members of the Saint Leo women’s golf team received All-America honors from the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA). Marie Coors was a Second Team honoree, while both Vilde Eriksen and Amanda Jakobsson were Honorable Mention selections.
Two cross country/track athletes recognized as Academic All-District selections
Saint Leo cross country and track athletes Valentin Lenz and Colett Rampf were each named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Cross Country/Track and Field Academic All-District teams, announced last Thursday.
Summer camp and showcase dates announced for baseball and volleyball
Saint Leo offers a broad range of camps and clinics not just in the summer, but throughout the year! Men’s lacrosse is the latest to announce the date for its upcoming prospect camp.
– Men’s lacrosse to hold prospect camp on September 10, 2016.
– Volleyball announced its full slate of camps for summer 2016.
– MBB head coach Vince Alexander announced the dates for his inaugural camps at Saint Leo.
