Dr. Passard Dean selected for SSC Faculty-Mentor Award
Dr. Passard Dean, Saint Leo professor of accounting and finance, has been named the recipient of the Sunshine State Conference Faculty-Mentor Award, and will be a candidate for the NCAA Division II Dr. Dave Pariser Faculty Mentor Award. Read the complete release
Giving Challenge generates more than $112,000 for Saint Leo Athletics
Saint Leo Athletics’ inaugural Giving Challenge was an overwhelming success, as a total of 1,082 donors contributed $112,141 during the monthlong campaign. Read the complete release
Volleyball, women’s soccer athletes receive All-South Region honors
Women’s soccer senior Rosie Young and volleyball sophomore Anna Garrett were each tabbed for All-South Region honors last week. Young was a Third Team honoree by the United Soccer Coaches, while Garrett earned All-South Region honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA).

Three tennis players among ITA national individual rankings
Three Saint Leo tennis players were listed among the top 50 players in Division II when the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) individual rankings were issued last week. On the men’s team, Thomas Grinberg was ranked No. 3, while Vincent Suillerot was ranked No. 15. Marta Vicens Miquel was No. 44 on the women’s rankings. Read the complete release
