Help identify advocates for our 10th annual giving day

The university’s annual Day for Saint Leo giving day has been set for Wednesday, April 12, and University Advancement is looking for alumni, faculty, and staff to serve as advocates and help generate awareness.

Serving as an advocate can be an easy way to help the university, and it doesn’t take much effort to achieve success. On Day for Saint Leo, advocates are charged with spreading the word about our giving day, along with a personal plea, that encourages former classmates and friends to give.

The key to success as an advocate is simple: Spread the word to as many people as you know. This is a day about giving, and all gifts, no matter how big or how small, go a long way toward helping Saint Leo succeed.

To make it easy to recruit advocates, faculty and staff may use this Sample Advocate Invitation Letter, and email it to Saint Leo alumni connections who may be interested in helping. Once alumni have confirmed to be advocates, send their names and email addresses to John Agnello in University Advancement at john.agnello@saintleo.edu.

Faculty and staff who are interested in becoming advocates or who would like to learn more, please contact John Agnello in University Advancement at john.agnello@saintleo.edu.
