Nine Saint Leo University students and employees, as well as alumna and U.S. Navy Reserve Rear Admiral Ingrid Rader and alumnus and Saint Leo Board of Trustees member Colonel Dick Johnson, were presented with handmade quilts on Wednesday, November 9. The Patriot Quilters of Florida presented beautiful quilts as a way to thank our veterans for their service and sacrifice to our nation.

The quilts, sewn in red, white, and blue colors, were laid over the shoulders of each recipient, who also shared a few words of thanks with the audience. See photos from the event in the gallery below.
