0Join Saint Leo Community to establish new ‘First-Generation Scholarship’
On November 29, the university community is invited to support Giving Tuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. This year, we are excited to announce a singular fundraising focus for Giving Tuesday. Your gifts will help establish a new First-Generation Scholarship for students at Saint Leo University!
We hope to create an annual tradition of supporting some of our most at-need students on Giving Tuesday and we want you, our faculty and staff, to be a part of it. First-generation college students face unique challenges, including balancing several identities, working one or multiple jobs, and managing family obligations — all while trying to get an education to further their careers.
Thanks to the Jessie Ball DuPont Fund, your gift to the First-Generation Scholarship will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $25,000. Matching-gift opportunities for this scholarship end on November 30, so please do your part and make your gift today. A donation of any size provides the resources our students need. With your support, our students can fulfill their educational dreams and positively impact our community.
