Day at Tampa Bay Downs—January 21
On Saturday, January 21, 2017, join members of the Saint Leo Alumni Association as they host a day at Tampa Bay Downs at 11225 Race Track Road, Tampa, FL 33626. You’re invited for a day of networking with other alumni, donors, and friends of the university and for live racing action, featuring equine expert Tom Sweeney, president of Thoroughbred Owners of Florida and owner of Port Royal Racing. Attendees will enter through the grandstand gates, which open at 11 a.m. The first race will begin at 12:30 p.m.
The cost is $40 per person, which includes parking, a free Racing Form, and buffet lunch in our own private suite, overlooking the finish line! To attend you must be 21 years and older. Register online at the alumni and friends website.
Additional amenities include an in-suite cash bar, a race named after Saint Leo University Alumni Association, and a contest for four lucky guests to present the winning jockey in the Winner’s Circle.
