0Donate to Saint Leo University’s Social Work Club toy, clothing drive
What
The Saint Leo University Social Work Club is excited to coordinate a toy and clothing drive from November 7 to December 12, to benefit the children of Lacoochee Elementary School.
Lacoochee is located 15 miles from University Campus, but is one of the poorest communities in Pasco County. Many of the children in this area face poverty, hunger, and a need for a wonderful Christmas. Club members call upon students, staff, and faculty to unite and donate to their drive to give back to our local community. The Social Work Club will collect new children’s clothing (socks, underwear, leggings, etc.), shoes, and toys to give to the Lacoochee Elementary students whose parents may not be able to afford Christmas presents. The club hopes you will consider donating to the drive to ensure that we provide these students with a fantastic Christmas.
