0Lion’s Den Virtual Gallery now showing spring student work
Students enrolled in studio art classes this spring at University Campus were invited to submit their pieces for showing and judging in the Spring 2021 Art Gala by the Department of Language Studies and the Arts. The submitted works included paintings, drawings, pottery, and photography and are now on display for viewing by the Saint Leo community.
To visit the show, please choose the “Guided Tour” option from our 3-D virtual platform, which is now known as the Lion’s Den Virtual Gallery: https://artspaces.kunstmatrix.com/en/exhibition/6166243/spring-2021-student-art-gala.
Along with the works and names of artists, viewers can see which works were awarded distinctions in the judging. Ribbons were awarded in each of the four categories of work, and the “Best in Show” award went to Anna Hogan for her Raku fired pot. The judge for this event was former Saint Leo University faculty member Brook McGinnis.
