In Memoriam—Charles L. Kelly
The Saint Leo community mourns the loss of Charles L. Kelly, 91, who died Sunday, October 11, 2020. He is the husband of 64 years of Dr. Evelyn Kelly, adjunct instructor for Saint Leo’s education department.
He was a Baptist pastor, educator, and rancher and was owner of Santa’s Christmas Tree Forest. He is survived by three daughters Sharlene Chatham, Natalie Kelly, and Marsha Oxamendi; a son, former State Representative Kurt D. Kelly; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 14, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Ocala, FL, and graveside services followed at Highlands Memorial Cemetery, Ocala.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County Legacy House, 9505 S.W. 110th St., Ocala, FL 34481.
