0Recognition plans for 2020 graduates in place
The Saint Leo University Commencement Committee has created a plan to honor our 2020 graduates and allow them to celebrate with their families and friends. Details have already been emailed to our graduates by the Registrar’s Office.
First, the university will hold a virtual celebration ceremony for the Class of 2020 in July. This will feature speeches and the opportunity for each graduate to be recognized by name. Graduates will be asked to provide their names (including proper pronunciation), a photo, and a brief personal message. Each participant’s information will appear in a slide that will be on display during the virtual celebration. Normal business processes for issuing diplomas and releasing transcripts are in place, and that information also has been communicated to the Class of 2020.
Second, all 2020 graduates will be invited to participate in the commencement ceremonies that will occur in the spring of 2021. Further information on this opportunity will be shared at the end of the calendar year. Graduates with any questions are being directed to email them to commencement@saintleo.edu.
More information about viewing the July virtual celebration will be shared on this platform as details are finalized.
