University Senate nominations now open

University Senate nominations are open until Friday, February 15, for the 2019 – 2021 academic years. The University Senate is the advisory body to the president and an integral part of the university. Most of the senate’s work is completed in committee. Faculty and staff are welcome to nominate themselves and/or other colleagues.

Do you know what the University Senate is or how it functions? Do you want to know more about the responsibilities of a being a senator? Find out more on the university’s intranet.

To access the intranet, go to https://intranet.saintleo.edu, log in using your Saint Leo credentials, and then select “Senate” from the menu. There you can find more information on the senate constitution, bylaws, senate officers, the current senators and standing committees, and meeting minutes.

Nominations can be submitted through the online nomination form. Faculty and staff who may have questions about University Senate and the nomination process may contact David Persky, vice president of University Senate.
