Enjoy 2023 issue of Sandhill Review, ‘The Unfamiliar’

The 2023 issue of Sandhill Review, Saint Leo’s annual literary and visual arts magazine, is available for your reading and viewing pleasure here. You also can find the link on the College of Arts and Sciences webpage .

Community members were invited to submit their works for the 2023 issue, based on the theme “The Unfamiliar.”

“The writing and photography in this edition of Sandhill Review tease the unfamiliar out from the comfortable sunlight of the familiar,” writes editor-in-chief Gianna Russo, assistant professor of English and creative writing. “In these pages, the unfamiliar is as ordinary as realizing how you fit in with long-ago acquaintances. It is as shocking as getting an unexpected diagnosis. It is as foreign as a war-torn, dystopian planet and as common as a blooming flower.”

Enjoy the poetry, fiction, nonfiction, graphics, and photography created by Saint Leo students, faculty, staff, and alumni along with members of the community!
