Prospective students attend Campus Open House

Saint Leo was on full display Saturday, February 4, for the University Campus Open House. More than 200 prospective students with 330 guests attended the event, which showcased our academics, student life, campus involvement, financial aid, and more.

One popular event at the open house was the Life at Leo sessions, featuring team members from Student Affairs, who discussed residence life and on-campus activities, clubs, organizations, and other happenings that would interest future students and their families.

Faculty members, deans, and Vice President of Academic Affairs Mary Spoto explained the various degree offerings, Saint Leo’s focus on interdisciplinary learning, “cool” courses, and much more during sessions at the open house.

Campus tours were offered and included the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Lab at Kirk Hall where prospective students and their guests were introduced to Pepper, a friendly humanoid robot and his companions.

Particularly attractive to prospective students was the opportunity to receive a $250 microscholarship for attending an in-person event and submitting an application for the Fall 2023 Semester. The scholarship may be used toward their first academic year at University Campus.
