11 participants graduate from Lake City Education Center’s Youth Mental Health Workshop
While Hurricane Ian delayed the Lake City Education Center’s free Youth Mental Health Workshop, the rescheduled event took place October 27 at Lake Shore Hospital Authority in Lake City.
Sponsored by Saint Leo’s Lake City Education Center and Suwannee River Area Health Education Center, those attending could earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) by completing the workshop. Meridian Behavioral Healthcare of Lake City provided the training and certification.
Congratulations to the 11 graduates who now are trained to help an adolescent who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis!
