Leaders in the Industry series to present ‘Improving Emotional Wellness’ on April 6

Career Services and the Department of Undergraduate Human Services will present the next session in the Leaders in the Industry series, “Improving Emotional Wellness” at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6.

The webinar features an all-star human services panel, comprised of members of the Undergraduate Human Services Community Advisory Board, including Loronda Giddens, Shari Hastey, Janice Douglass-Ellis, and Rohan Williams ’15.

With experience in all business sectors, including public, private, and non-profit, as well as military service, these leaders will share their unique perspectives on the increased focus on emotional wellness since the pandemic. How have services, resources, and roles changed to support the increase in mental health challenges? What are their various agencies and organizations doing to address this? The panel will also provide insight for those considering a career in human services, as well as a better understanding of the changing landscape of this career path.

Invest in yourself and spend this hour learning from a human services panel that will share some great perspectives and lessons they have learned while following this career path.
