Spring Forward with Saint Leo’s Center for Research

This spring, the university’s Center for Research is offering an event on March 9, as well as two research groups for faculty, to help keep your research projects moving forward. Faculty won’t want to miss the following opportunities:

Easy does it: basic data analysis tools to get your research moving
March 9, 1-2 p.m. on Zoom – https://saintleo.zoom.us/j/99637182092
This session will introduce a new and easy-to-use statistical platform, jamovi. The session will cover how to use your existing data and common first steps in the analysis of data (e.g., describing your sample and relationships between variables). A sample data set will be provided for practice. Time will also be included for participants to ask questions about their own data and analysis plans.

Ready to jump start your research projects?
Join a monthly research meet-up group to discuss your project, celebrate wins, ask questions, and get help when you’re stuck. It’s all about support.

Need time/space to get that writing done?
Join a weekly Pomodoro group for a two-hour block of writing. Participants will use Teams to meet and then write for set intervals, checking back in with each other for motivation and accountability.

If you’re interested in either or both groups, email Centerforresearch@saintleo.edu
