Saint Leo welcomes German Consul General to University Campus

Saint Leo University welcomed Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany Andreas Siegel to University Campus on Thursday, February 24. The visit was part of a trip organized by the Pasco Economic Development Council to introduce the consul general to the area and explore opportunities for partnerships.

While at the university, the consul general received a tour of the campus by Vice President of Community Engagement and Innovation Dr. Mark Gesner, Executive Director for the Center of Global Engagement Paige Ramsey-Hamacher, and an undergraduate student from Germany.

Following the tour, the consul general met with Saint Leo University President Jeffrey Senese and then enjoyed a lunch and panel discussion with Saint Leo faculty, staff, and students from Germany.
