Join in training to prevent voter suppression, view film on February 16

Join Saint Leo University’s Black Student Union and Social Work Club in partnership with the Undergraduate Social Work Why Vote? Campaign for a hybrid training session on preventing voter suppression in communities of color and participation in a campus-wide voter registration drive!

The community is invited to an informational session at 6 p.m., Wednesday, February 16, in Selby Auditorium in Lewis Hall, followed by a movie night on the Kirk Hall lawn to watch All In: The Fight for Democracy. This Emmy-nominated documentary follows American lawyer, politician, and voting rights activist Stacey Abram’s work in Georgia to combat voter suppression. For virtual access to the training, please use this link.
