Volunteers needed for three Saint Leo hosted cross country meets
This fall, Saint Leo University will welcome student-athletes from across the United States as we host three exciting cross country events:
- National Championship Preview at 8:15 a.m., Saturday, October 2
- NCAA South Regional at 7:30 a.m., Saturday, November 6
- NCAA Division II National Championship at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, November 20
Saint Leo Athletics needs volunteers to assist with hosting each of these races. Faculty, staff, and students can sign up on this spreadsheet under the day(s) that you are able to assist. This is a great time to showcase Saint Leo and our community!
Volunteering at a cross country event is a great opportunity for students looking for community service opportunities close to campus or who have internship hours they need to fill. The national championship on November 20 will be particularly hard to staff with volunteers, as it is the Saturday before Thanksgiving and students will have left for break.
All races will take place at The Abbey Course, on State Road 52, across from University Campus. Times are subject to change.
