Mass to commemorate death of St. Benedict—March 21
On March 21, the monks of Saint Leo Abbey will celebrate an important holy day for their order, the passing of St. Benedict. It is a solemnity, the monks celebrate every year to commemorate the death of St. Benedict, the founder of their religious order, the Benedictines.
Mass on Thursday, March 21, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in the Abbey Church. Most Reverend Bishop Frank J. Dewane, of the Diocese of Venice, will preside at the Mass. All are welcome.
