Help Department of Social Work with its philanthropy efforts

The Social Work Department of the College of Education and Social Services, in an effort to support our local community, is collecting personal hygiene products for Coalition for the Homeless of Pasco County. The hygiene products will be distributed to more than 1,000 homeless individuals and families across the county.

This compassionate effort runs from Monday, October 1, through Friday, December 7. Items may be placed in collection bins located throughout University Campus and several of our Florida locations:

  • Gainesville
  • Tampa
  • PHSC – New Port Richey
  • PHSC – Spring Hill

Please help the social work departments by bringing any of the following items:

Soap
No-rinse body wash
Shampoo
No-rinse shampoo
Hand sanitizer
Toothbrushes
Toothpaste 
Dental floss
Feminine hygiene products
Deodorant 
Shaving supplies
Toilet paper
Insect spray
Sunblock
Medicated body powder
Lotion/lip balm
Manicure set – nail clippers, brush, file
Tweezers
Baby wipes
Facial cleansing cloths
