Summer camps are still accepting registrations

The university will offer a variety of summer camps at the Saint Leo campus this summer, which include basketball, volleyball, soccer, recreation, swim, CSI, and a robotics camps for girls.

If you, your family, or your friends are looking for fun activities and a welcoming atmosphere, these may be great options for you. Some of the camps offer discounts to Saint Leo employees so be sure to contact the camp contact who is listed on the website to find if there is a discount code.

The following camps below are still accepting registrations:

Lions Swim School

Group swim lessons will be offered to children ranging in ages and ability. An advanced swimming training lesson will also be offered to children looking to improve cardiovascular endurance and technique. Private and semi-private swim lessons will also be offered and scheduled by appointment with the teacher. For more details and to register, visit totalcamps.com/saintleorecreation.

Little Lions Day Camp

Little Lions Camp is a kid-centered, fun-based day camp that’s primary focus is keeping kids physically and creatively active during the summer months. Starting on June 11, there will be four different sessions of camp available for children ages 5 – 13. The camp will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Pre-care is available from 7:30 to 8 a.m. and aftercare from 5 to 5:30 p.m. each day for an additional $25. To register, visit totalcamps.com/saintleorecreation.

Girls Can! Robotics Overnight and Day Camps

A new offering this year is Girls Can! Robotics Overnight Camp. It will take place Tuesday, July 10, through Friday, July 13. This camp is for girls ages 10 to 15 with prior robotic experience, and it will give them the opportunity to not only explore science and math, but also the chance to experience campus life. They will stay in a residence hall, Apartment 6. Cost for the overnight camp is $300, which includes organized activities.

The Girls Can! Robotics Camp, held during the day, will be offered Monday, July 16, through Friday, July 20, running from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. Participants will be served snacks and lunches. Cost is $200.
