University Senate nominations now open

University Senate nominations are open until Friday, March 23. The University Senate is the advisory body to the president and an integral part of the university. Most of the senate’s work is completed in committee. Faculty and staff are welcome to nominate themselves and/or other colleagues.

Do you know what the University Senate is or how it functions? Do you want to know more about the responsibilities of a being a senator? Find out more!

Using your Saint Leo ID and password, you can log on to the Saint Leo portal and then choose “Intranet.” (If you can’t remember your login ID and password, please go to my.saintleo.edu, and click on the help link for logins and passwords.) After you log in, you will find a link for the University Senate, which will provide more information on the senate constitution, the bylaws, the senate officers, the current senators, and the standing committees, as well as minutes from previous senate meetings.

Please take a few minutes and complete your nominations today using the appropriate link.
