Hometown Heroes Night will honor veterans, first responders

Saint Leo will host Hometown Heroes Night on Saturday, February 24, welcoming veterans and first responders from the community and Saint Leo student-veterans, military students, and faculty and staff members who served in the military to the evening’s basketball games.

The women’s basketball game against Rollins College begins at 5:30 p.m. The men’s basketball games begins at 7:30 p.m. with the Lions taking on the Tars. The games are played at the Marion Bowman Activities Center at the east side of the campus at 33701 State Road 52, St. Leo, FL 33574.

There is no admission cost for veterans, active duty military, and first responders including law enforcement, emergency medical, and fire personnel. Guests should bring identification indicating their designation as veterans, military personnel, or first responders.
