Production of “Secret in the Wings” — November 3-5, 10-12

The Department of Language Studies and the Arts presents Mary Zimmerman’s Secret in the Wings, starting at 7:30 p.m. on November 3-5 and November 10-12. The performances will be held the Black Box Theatre, located on the ground floor of Benedictine Hall at University Campus.

It’s easy to love things that are lovable, but what do with the things that are completely unloveable? Secret in the Wings, a play by Mary Zimmerman, takes a collection of little-known fairy tales and strings them together to help the dreaded ogre, Mr. Perry, learn the lesson that he can be loved. With stories from The Princess Who Wouldn’t Laugh to the story of Allerleira and her escape from her wicked father, Secret in the Wings tells these stories with humor, horror, and heart.

Admission is free with a suggested $10 donation. The performance is open to the public, but seating is limited. To reserve a ticket or for more information, email stleotheatre@saintleo.edu.
