New course for Fall 2017 — The American West
In Fall 2017, the History Department is offering a course about the history of the American West. This course will introduce students to the history of the “Wild West” and will explore the myths and realities related to cowboys, Native Americans, miners, gunfighters, lawmen, western women, the buffalo, the railroad, and much more.
The course will be offered at University Campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m., and will be taught by Dr. Heather Parker.
