Summer casual dress to end, Spirit Fridays continue through the year
The university’s flexible workweek and summer casual dress code end on Friday, August 4. As we move into the start of the Fall Semester, faculty and staff are encouraged to continue participating in Spirit Fridays throughout the school year.
On Spirit Fridays, it is important to choose attire that represents the university well at all times. This may mean forgoing casual dress options if you are meeting important visitors or hosting a special event.
- Dress shorts, capris, and jeans are permissible and should be clean and of appropriate length. Short shorts, cutoffs, and distressed jeans with holes are not permitted.
- Shirts with collars, polos, and blouses are appropriate. T-shirts may be worn if they are Saint Leo University logo items. University apparel is encouraged. Halter tops or crop tops are not permitted.
- Shoes may include sandals, but no flip-flops permitted.
- Beachwear is not permitted at any time.
