Learn more about master’s, doctoral theology programs at webinar, August 12

For those interested in graduate work in theology, Saint Leo now offers both a Master of Arts in theology degree and a Doctor of Theology (ThD) in applied theology degree. An informative webinar on these two graduate program degrees will be held 7-8 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, via Zoom.

Faculty, staff, students, and the public can find out more about the degrees from Dr. Randall Woodard, director of the master’s program and Dr. Stephen Okey, director of the doctoral program.

The Doctor of Theology degree is the university’s newest degree offering, and it is designed for those already engaged in careers in ministry, education, publishing, and the nonprofit sector. It’s a rigorous scholarly degree for those engaged in ministry or education within the American Catholic Church and other ecclesial contexts. The ThD program is offered online with a one-week residency at University Campus.

Saint Leo’s Master of Arts in theology is a well-established online degree program which teaches appropriate skills for leadership in liturgical and ministerial service including lay ministers, candidates to the diaconate, and educators.
