Giving Tuesday campaign raises more than $50,000

On November 29, the Saint Leo University community participated in Giving Tuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back.

Thanks to our loyal Lions, the university’s campaign was able to surpass its goal of $50,000, raising a total of $57,000. Gifts were made in support of Saint Leo University student scholarships, athletics, academics, and more and included a mix of alumni, faculty, and staff donors.

To help make the campaign a success, the university partnered with the Jessie Ball DuPont Fund to do a matching gift challenge, which was successful in matching dollar-for-dollar gifts up to $25,000.

To see a summary of how well the campaign did, visit the Giving Tuesday campaign webpage. If you wanted to make a gift to the university on Giving Tuesday but did not have a chance, visit your.saintleo.edu/give and support an area of the university that is most important to you.
