Saint Leo launches Navigate to help with student success
Saint Leo University is introducing a new tool that will help support student success. Navigate is a student success platform that students can easily access to find academic help and support—all in one convenient location. Available to access on a computer or through a mobile app, Navigate will serve as our one platform for student success.
Navigate will be customized to each student, allowing them to:
- View their course schedule
- Find their student success coach’s contact information
- Find their academic advisor’s contact information
- See their instructors’ office hours
- Schedule an appointment with their student success coach
Additionally, Navigate will notify students if their advisors or faculty members have concerns about their academic performance and how they can take steps to improve.
For faculty and staff, Navigate allows all those connected to a student’s success to communicate and work together at a greater level. A workgroup, comprised of faculty and staff across the university, spent several months collaborating to make this app a helpful resource for our students, and trainings were held for faculty and staff during the summer.
Navigate is now available to students to access. Next week, students will be sent an email to encourage them to download the app and begin using it by entering their university credentials. Navigate will also be available to access through Okta on a computer. Additional promotions will be shared on the university’s social media channels.
