Saint Leo University celebrated our veterans last week with a special ceremony and reception on November 10, and a day of service on November 11.
The ceremony featured special guest speaker U.S. Army Colonel Lewis “Jay” Powers, deputy commanding officer, Special Operations Command-Central.
For the day of service, students had the option to participate in three different projects: packaging meals for Rise Against Hunger, making dog toys for Paws of Love, and working to beautify the Peaceful Reflections Garden.
