Fourth Annual Social Work Conference March 9 at University Campus

Saint Leo University will host its fourth Social Work Conference on campus, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 9,  in the Student Community Center Greenfelder-Denlinger Boardrooms.  Beyond ACEs: Transformative Interventions and Systems in Trauma, is open to area professionals. Faculty, students, and alumni are welcome and encouraged to invite colleagues. 

The conference keynote address will be delivered by Florida 6th Circuit Judge Lynn Tepper .

As awareness grows of the far reaching impact of trauma in people’s lives, social workers, human service and mental health professionals as well as the courts, the medical profession, schools, and elected officials are responding with more innovative treatments that promote healing for individuals, families, and for communities and larger systems.
