Changes to the copier, printer agreement

Saint Leo University has negotiated a contract with Xerox Business Solutions to replace the Ricoh partnership. University Campus and all Saint Leo locations are part of a three-month rollout schedule that starts this week for a few smaller University Campus offices.

As part of the new agreement, some exciting changes and benefits are underway. They include:

  • new printer/copier equipment at the Print Shop and in locations where there are current Ricoh machines;
  • significant cost savings to the university by using secure and shared resources;
  • ability to print to any university machine and retrieve via secure ID badge or authentication; and
  • simplified paper ordering and billing.

Additional communications about the schedule will be shared with vice presidents and center directors in advance of updated being made for their areas. Upcoming trainings and documentation also will be shared with users, as well as instructions on connecting to the network for printer driver updates.
