Human Resources implements holiday hiring pause
Human Resources will implement a holiday hiring pause that will take effect Tuesday, November 17, 2020, through Monday, January 4, 2021, following the university holiday break.
Consistent with past practice, the university has paused hiring as the holiday break approaches in order to provide more continuity in the onboarding process for new employees. The last start date for new employees this calendar year will be Monday, November 16, 2020. As a reminder, any requests to hire during this time must be submitted to your human resources business partner, along with justification to hire for the position prior to the Spring Semester. After November 16, 2020, please hold all hiring requests until we return from holiday break. Exceptions due to unusual circumstances should be discussed with respective divisional vice presidents for consideration.
