Center for Alternative Pathway Programs offers free courses for the community

During these challenging times, Saint Leo University’s Center for Alternative Pathway Programs is now offering complimentary online enrichment courses for the community. These courses were designed to help individuals find respite and relaxation from the stress of the coronavirus pandemic.

Faculty members representing a variety of degree programs have developed 10 self-paced courses on topics ranging from budget baking and backyard birding to quarantine spirituality for the family.

“I’ve been amazed at how quickly faculty have come together to offer these courses to the community,” said Cindy Lee, director of the Center for Alternative Pathway Programs. “These courses are wonderful way that we can lend our expertise and help others during this trying time.”

All faculty and staff are welcome to take the courses if interested and are encouraged to help spread the word about the offerings within their personal and professional networks. A list of the courses, including descriptions, can be found at https://info.online.saintleo.edu/capps-community-courses.
