Security notice: Upcoming required Okta password change

Saint Leo University continues to decrease the number of required logins by centralizing system access under Okta. While this increases convenience in the form of fewer logins, it may also increase the risk to user data if passwords are shared. Industry best practice indicates that passwords should be changed on a regular basis in order to maintain the security of user accounts as well as sensitive data.

In the coming weeks, all university Okta users will be prompted to change their password upon login. When prompted, follow the onscreen instructions to provide multifactor authentication information that you set up during your initial Okta login. Be sure to follow all password requirements and avoid using a variant of your old password. For further instructions, follow onscreen prompts during reset.

After you have updated your password, you will need to update your password on any mobile devices that you have setup your Saint Leo University email or other services that require you to use your Saint Leo University account information.

For more information, please call the Help Desk at (352) 588-8888.
