Leaders in the Industry webinar series continues, October 24
Saint Leo University WorldWide Career Services presents this monthly series of interactive webinars, offering students the opportunity to explore career fields and network with industry professionals. You can attend from wherever you are!
The next webinar will be on Tuesday, October 24, at 7 p.m. EST. WorldWideCareer Services welcomes Saint Leo University alumnus Vincent Wiskowski ’15, director of social media, and Chris Madden, youth league coordinator for the United Soccer League (USL), LLC. The USL is one of the most prominent Division II professional soccer leagues in the world, with 30 markets in 20 states and two Canadian provinces for the 2017 season, reaching a population of 75 million people. Headquartered in Tampa, FL, the USL provides unparalleled club support with a growing team of more than 50 professionals working in roles related to operations, marketing, communications, and sponsorship.
Wiskowski and Madden will share stories of a typical day at the USL, how they paved their way to a career in sport business, and the challenges related to employment in the industry. Tune in to network and get an inside look at this exciting but highly competitive industry!
