Four Lions tabbed for Sunshine State Conference weekly honors
Four Saint Leo student-athletes were selected for Sunshine State Conference weekly honors, following a week of competition in the wake of Hurricane Irma:
– Guillaume Campos and Conor McElhinney were named SSC Men’s Soccer Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week respectively, after leading Saint Leo to a 2-1 double overtime victory over Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
– Colett Rampf was named the SSC Women’s XC Runner of the Week for the 14th time in her career after winning the Embry-Riddle ASICS Classic.
– Ronald Cheserek earned his fifth career SSC Men’s XC Runner of the Week award after also posting a first-place finish at the Embry-Riddle ASICS Classic.
