Rock Against Cancer
The members of Theta Phi Alpha invites students, faculty, and staff to join them from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Rock Against Cancer, on Monday, March 6, in the Bowl.
Rock Against Cancer is a philanthropy event for Diana Uriarte Ugalde, who is battling pancreatic cancer. The funds raised will help relieve some of the financial stress on her and her family. Diana Uriarte Ugalde is the grandmother of Brianalyn, a Theta Phi Alpha sister. The event will include student performers as well as Buda Tom, an indie-style performer who often appears at Disney Springs. In addition, there will be a taco truck.
Admission is $5, and all proceeds go to Brianalyn’s grandmother, Diana. If you are unable to attend the event but still wish to support Diana during this time, please visit her gofundme page.
