The spring piano recital, featuring Sijing Ye and centering on works by Frederic Chopin, will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, at the Saint Leo Abbey Church.
Sijing Ye is the winner of the 2016 Miami International Piano Festival Concerto Competition. She is a virtuosic pianist who has earned recognition in her home country of China and internationally. A student of both the Julliard School of Music and the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto, she is the recipient of many awards and honors.
This concert is made possible through the generosity of the Monks of Saint Leo Abbey and Mr. Richard Behnke, a friend of the university. The event is free and open to the public.
